Matilda (Gindlesberger) Kring
Aug. 23, 1850--Sept. 8, 1909

Matilda Kring, age 58, of North Liberty, Indiana, passed away Sept. 8, 1909, in her home, after a short illness, surrounded by love ones and friends.

Matilda was born Aug. 23, 1850, in Kendallville, Indiana. The daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth (Ritter) Gindlesberger, of Kendallville.

On Sept. 30, 1875, in South Bend, In., as Matilda Gindlesberger, married widower William Kring, of South Bend. The son of Frederick and Elizabeth (Stiener) Kring of South Bend.

The Kring's were farmers by trade, and resided in North Liberty, IN… Matilda found the Lord as a young child, the Kring's were members of the Church of the Brethren, in St. Joseph County.

The marriages of Matilda and Will were blessed with five children:

Albert R. (1877-1941)
Charles F.(1879-1931)
Arthur J. (1882-1967)
Luella B. (1884-1918)
Edith E. (1888-1975)
William S.(1890-1940) **

**('NOTE' William S. was raised by William and Matilda, but was not their son, his parents names are not known at this time.

Matilda is buried in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, Indiana.
