ILLNESS FATAL TO FLOYD V. SPAUGH
DALEVILLE: Floyd V Spaugh, 71, Rt. 1, Daleville, died early Sunday morning at St. John's Hospital in Anderson after a lingering illness. He was a retired Marathon bulk plant manager and had resided in the Daleville area for eight years.
A native of Hope, he was born Sept. 18, 1899, the son of Charles M. and Anna Mae Spaugh. He was a member of the Chesterfield Church of God and the Waldron Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are the widow, Velma Chambers Spaugh to whom he married Apr 4, 1920 in Columbus; a son, Lyle Spaugh of Anderson; daughter Mrs. Kathryn Jackson of Daleville; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandhcildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Karl M. Kyle Funer Home with Rev. Bradie Reed of Tocca, Georgia and the Rev. William Seybert, pastor of the Chesterfield Church of God in charge. Interment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.
Friends may be received at the Karl M. Kyle Funeral Home in Alexandria after 7 o'clock in the evening.
