Bradley Grimsley, 79, of Lumberton, passed away Oct. 13, 2011, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born in Robeson County on Sept. 21, 1932.
In addition to his parents, W.G. and Mallie Bailey Grimsley; he was preceded in death by his wives, Mildred Caulder Grimsley and Nina Jackson Grimsley; and an adopted son, David Grimsley.
Grimsley is survived by two daughters, Marsha Grimsley and Julia Ann Hardee and husband Alfie, all of Lumberton; six stepdaughters, Jacqueline Bailey and husband Martin, both of South Mills, Geraldine Edwards and husband Selwyn, both of Lumberton, Nancy Bass and husband, Richard of Liberty, S.C., Frances Long of Elizabethton, Tenn., Vicki Graham and husband Alex, both of Garner; and Doris Givens of Norfolk, Va.; his stepson, Dickey Brigman of Lumberton; 27 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, the Revs. George Connor and Russell Kinlaw officiating.
