Phronsie served as a volunteer missionary in the Phillipines, Japan and Kazakhstan and was a former minister of education for First Baptist Church in Conway, South Carolina. She was a loving person with a generous spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Quinn.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Janice A. Quinn, Carla F. Quinn (Pat); Philip E. Quinn (Melodee), Paul E. Quinn (Mickie); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Phronsie's life will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Lyndon Baptist Church, 8025 New Lagrange Road. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Saturday in the parlor of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Village. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Cave Hill Cemetery. Friends wishing to attend the graveside service should meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Monday In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorials to Lyndon Baptist Church for Missions.
