On Aug. 31, 1904, she was united in marriage to Charles D. Chapman, who preceded her in death in 1926. Mrs. Chapman was a lifetime member of the Christian Church, and until failing health prevented, was active in all phases of church work.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna Frances, wife of Ernest Roodhouse, White Hall, with whom she made her home; and a son, Charles Russell Chapman, of Roodhouse.
She also leaves a brother, George C. Blevins, of Wood River, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The following sisters preceded her in death: Mrs. Mabel Sykes, Mrs. Linnie B. Horton, Mrs. Florence Leitze and Miss Nellie Frances Blevins.
Mrs. Chapman passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 25, at 10 o'clock, at the Illinois Christian Home, Jacksonville, where she had resided for the past year.
