She attended the Concord schools and on October 18, 1908, at Dry Bayou, was married to Elbert Lawrence Mullins. Nine children were born to them, six having preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Dry Bayou Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Hutchison officiating. Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery with H.S. Smith service.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Wesley Mullins of Wardell; two daughters, Miss Lillie Mullins of Hayti and Mrs. Rachel Chadwick of Rockford, Ill.; a half-brother, C.D. Wilson; three half-sisters, Mrs. Addie Long, Mrs. Edith Quertermous and Mrs. Lorrence Quertermous; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
