A place visited by hundreds of people every week all looking for a miracle.
For over 150 years people have visited the grave site.
More than one million people flocked to the grave in 1929, at times there was a line over five miles long waiting to get close. The Church eventually closed the site temporarily while the tomb was encased in cement. An iron gate was put around the tomb to discourage people from taking soil from the site.
Today people leave rosary beads, flowers, pictures of loved ones and even throw coins over the gate as an offering.
