Caroline "Lena" Alberta Jackson, 51, life resident of Morning Sun, died in University Hospital, Iowa City, Saturday. She had been ill for several months.
Caroline Alberta, daughter of Alfred and Josephine Johnson, was born at Morning Sun, October 20, 1895. She was married to Bud Raymond Jackson April 14, 1920 and a member of the WSCS of the Methodist Church; member of the RNA serving as an officer for 12 years.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Alfred W. Jackson, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Eden and Mrs. Edna Rayner, Lone Tree; two brothers, Carl Johnson, Iowa City; and Alvin Johnson, Tipton.
Services were held in the Methodist Church, July 28 with Rev. J. Milton Kinney officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.
