Martha "Mattie" Lee Martin married Brooks G. Gregory, a son of Brooks Gregory and Mary Gregory on March 3, 1883 in Warren County, Kentucky.

Mrs. Gregory was the sister of Margret Hazel, Andrew P. "Andy" Martin, Harriett W. Clinton Price, Sidney "Sid" Martin, Joe Cephus Martin, Matilda Emma Haley Gill, Mary Jane Manning Duff, Sarah "Sally" Patton Gregory, Fannie Francis Martin, George Martin, George Ann Martin and James Harley Martin.

MRS. GREGORY'S RITES TUESDAY

Died Sunday at Home of Daughter On Route 3

Mrs. Mattie Lee Gregory, 71 years old, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. R. C. Price, Clarksville, Route 3, at 2 p.m. Sunday following a week's illness.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Oakland Church of Christ at 10 a.m. Tuesday by Dr. Richard N. Owen, pastor of the First Baptist Church and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Price, J. F. Davenport, I. E. Beaumont, Lewis Bourne, Thomas Hatcher and Tom Bowler.

Mrs. Gregory was the daughter of the late Morgan and Mrs. Dicie Woolbright Martin and was born in Warren County, Ky., April 16, 1867. She had been a resident of this county for the past two years.

Surviving or four daughters, Mrs. Price, Mrs. Fred Beckholdt and Mrs. Doyle Brady, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. R. R. Weis, Chicago, and three sons, Elzie Gregory, Brown County, Ind.; John and Hubert Gregory, Madison, Ind. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Tom Price, and Mrs. Fannie Martin, Hadley, Ky., and Mrs. Sallie Gregory, Auburn, Ky., and a brother, James Martin, Indianapolis.

Mrs. Gregory was a member of the Baptist Church.
