Dies at Age 74;
Funeral Saturday
Mrs. Hazel R, Lucas of 857 North Sixth died Thursday at Ivinson Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was 47 years old.
Mrs. Lucas was born March 16, 1912 at Frontier, Wyo., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Jones. She was a graduate of Hanna High school and of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Denver.
She married Thomas Lucas Sept. 6, 1936 at Hanna.
Mrs. Lucas was a lifeline member of the Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Pythian Sisters Lodge.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Thomas Alan, 18, and Richard Evans, 14, all of Laramie, her parents Evan and Anna Jones of Hanna; a sister, Jo Ann Carothers of Douglas, Wyo.; and two brothers, John Jones of Rawlins and LeRoy Jones of Roy, Utah.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist church by the Rev. Jay Wilson. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hunt Mortuary Friday evening and until noon Saturday.
