MRS. ALICE BOWERS
DIES AT AGE OF 85
Mrs. Alice Bowers, a resident of Rochester Mills, died in the, home of her daughter,
Mrs. Arthur Krugman in Elyria, O., Sunday at the age of 85.
Mrs. Bowers was born in Canoe Twp., Indiana County, Oct. 6, 1872,
a daughter of David and Frances Colkitt Work.
She was married to Austin Gary Bowers, who died in 1955.
Surviving are four daughters;
Mrs. Arthur Krugman and Mrs. C.A. Linderman, of Elyria, Ohio;
Mrs. Phil Sherer of Media, O.,
and Mrs. Thomas Kline of Rochester Mills;
a brother, Edgar Work of Rochester Mills,
five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock
in the Rochester Mills Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery,
near Rochester Mills. Friends are being received in the home in Rochester Mills.
