Two weeks from the time her mother died, she and younger brother Ralph Price were put in Webster Groves Orphan Home. Her father had to pay Webster Groves to keep them there. The older boy's , Elmer and Emmette were sent to relatives in KY to work their farm as Farm Laborer's to earn their keep. Elmer nor Emmette married.
She was an avid card player, loved her CrossWord Puzzles, Crochet, cooking, family reunions, her family.
She loved her family, making each feeling loved, each of our family felt they were loved, appreciated, and a favorite.
