"Clara Baldwin Passes Away
Mrs. Clara M. Baldwin, native of the Lodi district and member of a pioneer Lockeford family, passed away Tuesday night following a heart attack. Mrs. Baldwin, 82, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Catherine M. Hoskins, Rt. 1 Box 160, Acampo, CA.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Metcalf, early pioneers of the Lockeford area. Her husband was the late Loren B. Baldwin, Corvallis, OR., teacher at Oregon State College. Born at Lockeford Jan. 22, 1874, Mrs. Baldwin moved from the Lodi district with her husband, and following his death, returned about four years ago to make her home with her sister. She was a lifetime member of the United Brethren Church.
Besides her sister, the deceased leaves three sons, Neil B. Baldwin of St. Louis, MO, Ayne R. Baldwin, Centralla, WA, and Weir E. Baldwin of Portland, OR. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be arranged by the East-Pine Funeral Home upon the arrival of the surviving sons."

"MRS. CLARA M. BALDWIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara M. Baldwin will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the chapel of the East-Pine Funeral Home. The Rev. A. M. Bahnsen, pastor of the Grace Community Church of Lockeford, will officiate. The body will be sent to Corvallis, OR, for burial."
