Rev. Claude Moreland, pastor of
the First Baptist church, Aledo,
will officiate at funeral services
for Lloyd Mosley, 71, at 2 p.m.
Monday at the Reiser Chapel in
Aledo. Mr. Mosley died at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday at his home in Eliza
township from an apparent heart
ailment.
Visitation will be held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at the Reiser Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Born in Jacksonville, I11., on Mar.
19, 1901, he was the son of
William H. and Mary E. Johnson
Mosley. He lived in Iowa as a young
man and moved to Eliza in 1931. He
was a retired farmer.
Leda Buck became his wife on Dec.
24, 1919. She died on Nov. 8, 1936.
Mr. Mosley was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are five sons, Wil1iam F.,
Millersburg, I11., Marvin Eugene,
Muscatine, Marion H., Buda, Ill.,
Lloyd, Jr., Normal, Wilbur L.,
Letts; three daughters, Mrs. Martha
E. Spence, Aledo, Mrs. Minerva
Fuller, Eliza, Mrs. Leda E. Still,
Merrysville, I11.; three brothers,
Charles, Canyon City, Ore., Albert,
Wavedy, Ill., Gilbert, Springfield,
I11.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie L.
Mosiey, Jacksonville, I11., and
Mrs. Lucinda Bingamen, Sacramento,
Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 12
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one
daughter, four brothers, three s
isters, his wife and parents.
