Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. today, October 12, at the Phillips Cemetery for Nellie Inez Hanks, 94, of rural Kinmundy.
Hanks died on Sunday, October 9, at Doctors Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
She was a farmer's wife, Homemaker and babysitter for numerous children in the Brown Christian Church area. Inez was a faithful member of Brown Christian Church.
Survivors include: a son, Rick and wife Teresa Hanks of Kinmundy; stepsons, Myron and wife Rosetta Hanks of Kinmundy and Charles and wife Laurle Hanks of Kell; a sister-in-law, Fern Krutsinger of Flora; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Phillips Cemetery, and will be received at Neal Funeral Home of Kinmundy, which assisted the family with arrangements.
