"Services were to be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Methodist Church in Linn for Merriem Lucille Bledsue, 73, of Mount Sterling.

"The Rev. Robert C. Moger was to conduct the funeral for Mrs. Bledsue, who died Monday at a Jefferson City hospital, with burial in Linn Memorial Cemetery.

"An Eastern Star service was held Tuesday evening at Morton's Chapel in Linn.

"Mrs. Bledsue was born Dec. 22, 1921, at Lorton, Neb., to Leonard L. Davis and the former Louise Seba. She was married June 25, 1941, at Linn to Herbert Bledsue, who survives at the home.

"A homemaker, she was a member of St. John's, the Marie Baker Circle and Linn Chapter 403 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

"Other survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Masso of Linn and Peggy Kesten of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Leonard L. Davis of Mexico; a sister, LaDella Rogers of Linn; and three grandchildren.

"She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Davis, and a grandchild.

"Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church."
