DRYDEN, Va. - Nora Crusenberry, 78, died Wednesday (June 14, 2000) at Lee County Community Hospital.
Born in Johnson City, she lived in Lee County, Va. her entire life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert J. Crusenberry Sr.; her parents, Joe and Pearl Smith; three brothers and two sisters; one great-granddaughter and one step-grandson.
Surviving are three sons, Hobart Crusenberry Jr., Palos Verdes, Calif., Bill Crusenberry, Lake Gaston, N.C. and Colin Crusenberry, Hopewell, Va.; three daughters, Alma Rhea, Jenny Crusenberry, both of Pennington Gap, Va., and Kathy Crusenberry, Dryden, Va.; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two brothers, James Smith, Colorado and Narvel Smith, Lillington, N.C.; three sisters, Jean Archambeau, Michigan, Eva Mullins, Brenton, W.Va., and Sylvia Couch, Oceana, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Province Funeral Home, Pennington Gap, Va. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the sanctuary of the funeral home with the Rev. Bradley Yeary officiating.
Burial will be in Lee Memorial Gardens, Woodway, Va.
