Robert James Beale, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011.
He was born January 14, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts to Charles and Helena Beale. Robert received a Bachelor in physics from MIT.
He retired as Division Manager with the Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena, California. He was a member of American Solar Energy Society, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, MIT Alumni, and The Planetary Society.
Bob had a dry sense of humor. He knew a little about a lot of things, mostly science and technology.
Robert is survived by his wife of fifty years, Laurel Beale; children, Melissa Carson, Philip Beale, Eric Beale, and Christine Riedy; grandchildren, Eian, Kari, Samantha, Maggie, Kate, and James.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 845 Chestnut Street, Escondido, California.
