David Johnson, 85, died at his
Windfall home of complications at
8:30 p.m. Saturday after several
weeks of illness.
Services, with the Rev. Ernest
Batman in charge, have been set
for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the S. S.
Edwards Funeral home, Windfall,
with interment in Brookside cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home.
The deceased man was born to
William and Lucinda (Taylor)
Johnson near Sharpsville on May
29, 1872. He first married Lily
Murphy, who died Dec. 14, 1930,
and then married Mary Jane Harding
Nov. 15, 1940.
The widow; one son, Fred Johnson,
of Windfall; and a daughter,
Mrs. James Silers, of Elmira, N.Y.
survive. Also surviving are two
brothers, Walter Johnson and
Irwin Johnson, both of Windfall;
two grandchildren and one granddaughter.
