Gertrude F. Ludden was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Normal, a daughter of Lawrence and Frances Mary Gregory Ludden. She married William P. Sweeney June 18, 1949, in Bloomington.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Lawrence and James; and one brother, Edwin R. Ludden.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ludden Jeakins.
