Adams, Richard Passed away Sat., June 25, 2011, age 88 years. Beloved husband of Adeline (nee Malinowski) "Jitters" ( formerly Peters). Dear father of John (Stephanie) Peters, James (Suzanne) Peters, Susan (Peter) Sippel and Robert Peters. Brother of Donald (Marilyn) Adams. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service Friday, 12 noon, at the Funeral Home. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, 10AM until time of service. Member of Disabled American Veterans, VFW and American Legion. World War II POW captured Wake Island 1941 - Liberated from captivity 1946. Memorials to Betty Thompson Publisher of Wake Island Wig-Way (36511 E. Truman Rd., Oak Grove, IL 64705). Special thanks to Dr. Jeff Whittler and nurse Julie for their loving care.
