Mrs. Galdys Marie Sickles Duncan,85 of 804 Raleigh Road, Clinton, died Tuesday at her home.

Mrs. Duncan, born in Wyatt, Harrison County, WV., was the daughter of the late Myrtle Parks Sickles and the widow of O.H. Duncan. In addition to her mother and husband, she was also precedd in death by a son, Walter Hollis Duncan. She was amember of New Life Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Mehne and husband Jim of Virginia Beach, VA; and Lana Davenport and husband Craig of Columbia, SC; and one son, John Duncan and wife Lisa of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Luke Tew, Josh Tew, Amanda Garcia, Brook Duncan, and Will Duncan, two great grandchildren, Jocelyn Marie Garcia and D'Angelo Young, Jr.

The family received friends at her home.

The funeral services were held at 2pm, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Page and the Rev. Tom Wagoner officiating.

Burial was made in the Clinton City Cemetery.
