Paille played for the teams, Chicoutimi Saugueneens from 1955 to 1956, Cleveland Barons from 1956 to 1957, Providence Reds from 1957 to 1958, 1965 to 1966, 1966 to 1967, 1967 to 1968, 1968 to 1969, 1969 to 1970, and 1970 to 1971, New York Rangers from 1957 to 1958, 1958 to 1959, 1959 to 1960, 1960 to 1961, 1961 to 1962, 1962 to 1963, and 1964 to 1965, Buffalo Bisons from 1958 to 1959, Springfield Indians from 1959 to 1960, 1960 to 1961, and 1961 to 1962, Baltimore Clippers from 1962 to 1963, Vancouver Canucks from 1963 to 1964, Philadelphia Blazers from 1972 to 1973, and the Richmond Robins from 1973 to 1974. He was the recipient of the Harry 'Hap' Holmes Memorial Award from 1960 to 1961, and 1961 to 1962.
