Murder Victim. Victoria Zielinski, a 15-year-old cheerleader, was murdered by Edgar Smith. Her body was found in a sandpit. Smith was convicted of the crime and sentenced to death. After 14 years on death row, Smith's conviction was overturned. He wrote a best selling book proclaiming his innocence of the crime. Four years after Smith's release, he was arrested for the attempted murder of a woman in California and returned to prison. (bio by: Anonymous)
