Lizzie was a member of the Norview Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Group.
Lizzie came to live in Norfolk after her husband, James, died in the Flu epidemic in 1918 when they lived in Bertie Co., North Carolina.
She was a homemaker. She made the most beautiful quilts and gave one to each of her granddaughters.
Lizzie died at her home she was 84 years old, she had lived in Norfolk for 41 years. She left 1 daughter, 3 sons, 12 Grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren when she died.
