Civic Designer. He was the founder of the American "City Beautiful" movement. He designed the cities of Omaha, Fort Wayne, Denver, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Columbus, Oakland, Colorado Springs and many others, and was the first professor of Civic Design in the U.S. (bio by: Mount Hope NY)
