Catherine Arnott Johnson was the daughter of James Arnott and Kate McLeod Arnott. She was the youngest of eight children and her mother died when she was three. She was married to John (Ole) Johnson in Tawas City, Iosco Michigan in 1909. According to her daughter, Naidine, she was the mother of 10 children, four dying shortly before or after birth and six surviving to adulthood. She was a very loving person and a fabulous cook.
