| Birth: | May 8, 1883 | | Death: | Jun. 23, 1968 |  Canadian Politician. A native of Leclercville, Québec, he studied at the Séminaire de Québec and at the Laval university. He got his license as notary in 1911 and worked in the city of Québec. He was the first president of the Association of the Ploughmen of the Province. He served also as Director of the Automobile club of Québec. He was elected Liberal representative to the Legislative Assembly for the district of Québec in 1916. He was reelected without opposition in 1919 and 1923. His seat became vacant on October 5, 1923 when he was named joint registrator of Québec, a post he kept for 40 years, until 1963. His election of February 5, 1923 was cancelled on November 6, 1923 by the Superior Court. He died in Courville. (bio by: Guy Gagnon)
