French Folk Figure, Soothsayer and Fortune Teller. Known as the Sibyl of the salons. She built around his name, a fantastic and imaginary reputation about his age, his education and social class, with the aim of making attractive her public image of Soothsayer, but in reality it was all a mystification. She claimed to be the confidant of the first wife of Napoleon and Napoleon himself. Her name is still linked to divination cards known as Tarot.
