Iva Welcher Price, 91, of Charleston, passed away on March 1, 2015 in Fort Smith.
She was born March 19, 1923 in Pope County to Gus O. and Ora M. Welcher.
She retired from International Shoe Company and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, George F. Price; one son, Gerald D. May; and one brother, J.B. Welcher.
She is survived by her son, Troy A. May and his wife Karen of Charleston; four sisters, Dorothy Venable, Hettie Rachel and Ruth Turnbow all of Russellville and Anna Allison of Hector; one brother, Robert Welcher of Mooresville, North Carolina; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel with Bro. Bob Gilstrap and Bro. Ken Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wes May, Rob May, Greg Allison, Tracy Price, Justin Price, Clinton Slate and Shaun May.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary May, Lenard and Caleb Slate, Victor Allison, James Price, Scott Price, Paul and David Rachel and Lewis and Clifford Welcher.
