HERMANITE DIES IN OMAHA HOSPITAL
Everett Pershal Weatherby, 24 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Weatherby of the Herman vicinity, succumbed Wednesday morning, August 14, in an Omaha hospital following two major operations. He had been ill since July 21. Funeral rites were held at the Herman Methodist church last Friday afternoon with Rev. A. W. Clarke officiating, and burial was made at Logan, Iowa.
Born at Glenwood, Iowa on November 21, 1915, Weatherby and his parents lived near Blair for a time, moving to Herman several years ago. He is survived by his parents; an aunt, Miss Naomi Smith, who resides in the Weatherby home; and four uncles. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

EVERETT WEATHERBY, EX-BLAIRITE, SUCCUMBS IN OMAHA HOSPITAL
Everett Pershall Weatherby, 24, last of three sons of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Weatherby of near Herman, died yesterday morning in an Omaha hospital. Ill since July 21, he had undergone two operations.
Funeral services will be held at the Herman Methodist church Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev. A.W. Clarke officiating. Burial will be at Logan, Iowa.
Mr. Weatherby was born November 21, 1915 at Glenwood, Iowa. Several years ago the family came to the Blair vicinity, then moved to Herman.
Surviving the young farmer are his parents; an aunt, Miss Naomi Smith, who lives at the Weatherby home; and four uncles. Two brothers preceded him in death.
