Timothy "Tim" J. Babb, 54, of Flora, passed away at 3:55 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo.
Born on December 21, 1956 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Stanley E. Babb and Mary Ann Vansickle. On May 7, 1977 he married Janet L. LeDonne.
He was a 1975 Pioneer High School graduate and a 1976 graduate of the Nashville College of Auto and Diesel Engine Repair.
Tim was a member and past deacon of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church and a member and past president of the Young America Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, mowing the yard, antiquing and most of all spending time with his grandson, Nathaniel.
Survivors include his wife, Janet L. Babb of Flora, son, Ryan M. Babb and wife Courtney of Anderson, daughter, Allison L. Snyder and husband Brandon of Flora, brother, Joseph A. Babb and wife Tina of Logansport, sisters, Winifred M. Dudek and husband Robert of Westfield and Jennifer L. Ellison of Jasper, Georgia, uncle, Duncan Vansickle and wife Iris of Kansas City, Missouri and aunt, Elizabeth Houser of Indianapolis, grandson, Nathaniel Babb of Anderson and mother in law, Waunita LeDonne of Logansport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by daughter, Bridget R. Babb.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, State Road 29, Deer Creek.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2011 at the church.
Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek.
