Mr. Holley was born Francis Holly in the Manhattan portion of New York City on October 2, 1893 to the late John and Theresa (Vesely) Holly.
He was a resident of Lorain since 1921 having come from Georgia and had been a resident of Avon the past 14 years.
Mr. Holley was married to the former Margaret H. Rado who preceded him in death in 1945.
He was employed as a carpenter in Georgia and formerly was emplotyed at U S Steel as well as being employed as a cabinetmaker at American Ship Building from which he retired in 1957.
Surviving are his daughters Mrs. Michael (Margaret) Behlke of Avon and Mrs. Clarence (Julia) Barone of englewood, CA and by sons Louis S. (Julia) Holley of Avon and Frank J. (Mary) Holley Jr. of Amherst; and by a half-brother William Selesky of Atlanta, GA.
Friends may call at Emil Dovala Funeral Home today from 7 - 9 where servcies will be held on Thursday at 10:00am.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
