Death: Jun. 1, 1906

Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served during the Civil War as a Private in Company H, 54th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for hios bravery at Vicksburg, Mississippi on May 22, 1863. His citation reads simply "Gallantry in the charge of the "volunteer storming party." His Medal was awarded to him on July 12, 1894. (bio by: Tom Denardo)
