George D Rupp, 107, died Saturday at Sun Valley Medical Care Center. He ws born Nov. 13, 1862 in Frankenmuth Township and had been a lifelong Saginaw County resident. He was married to Anna Maria Schnell on Nov. 10, 1889 in Frrandentrost. She died April 4, 1951. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, 2nd and Federal and was the oldest member of the church. He retired from MOrely Brothers in 1940 after 20 years of employment.
Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Edna Mossner, Mrs Meta Hartner, Mrs. Ralph J (Amanda) Miller, all of Saginaw; Mrs. Peter L (Florence) Janson, Reese. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Arthur and Herbert Rupp, predeceased him.
