Mrs. Fredericka Denbrook, aged 92, the oldest resident of Dalton, passed away in her home at 4 A. M. Wednesday, following a paralytic stroke several days ago. Her husband preceded her in death five years ago.
The survivors are one sister, Mrs. Minnie Hawk of Orrville; two sons, Charles and Henry of Dalton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Brenner of Rittman and Mrs. Minnie Blinn of Akron; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the family resideence on Friday at 4 P. M. with Rev. Gerber of the Orrville Reformed church officiating. Burial will be made in Dalton Cemetery. Stockham Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Denbrook moved here from near Orrville fifteen years ago. She was born in Germany and she and her husband came to American in their younger days." Dalton Gazette, April 16, 1942
