Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, U.S.A. - Leatha Mae Thompson King, 90, died March 4, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Toombs County, Georgia, daughter of the late Berry Leonard and Delonia McCullough Thompson. She moved to Savannah in 1942 from Homestead, Florida and was employed by Bradley Plywood for many years. Mrs. King was a member of Harvest Church of the Nazarene where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and a Missionary Officer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira H. King and all of her eleven siblings. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene King (CH-MAJ US Army Ret) and Peggy King of Danbridge, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Arlie Webster of Isle of Wight, GA; grandchildren, Lawanna Webster of Richmond Hill; Gail Cook of Riceboro; Randall King of Marion, IN; Leon Webster of Savannah; Tracey Rutter of Chandler, AZ; Lori Teuton of Bonneau, SC; great grandchildren, Jean Michelle Gross, Rebekah Perry, Joshua Cook, Travis Cook, Elizabeth King, Adam Webster, Benjamin Webster, Wade Rutter, Kandace Rutter, Cody Teuton, Carson King, George Pittas-Giroux, Ryan Teuton, Isabella Webster, Kailie Teuton; great great grandchildren, Alia Fleming, Jayden Hickey and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007 in the Chapel of Hubert C.
