MCCLARY -- Mrs. Lydia Barrineau McClary, 82, widow of W. Gamble McClary, died July 7, 1998, in a Lake City hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, in the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in McClary Cemetery. Mrs. McClary was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Margaret Burrows Barrineau. She was associated with the Western Auto store in Kingstree. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and the Women' Auxiliary of the church. Survivors are: three sons, W. B. (Bill) McClary of Darlington; Lynn McClary of Cades; and Mike McClary of Kingstree; and three sisters, Julia Cribb of Georgetown; Virginia Boozer of Columbia; and Ruth Lawrence of Florence.
