Clovis M. Morrow, age 97, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born May 1, 1917, in Whitesburg, Georgia, the daughter of the late Edgar Young and the late Alva Maude Duke Young. She was retired from Marion Hosiery Mills, and was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she worked for many years in the nursery with the two and three year olds. She was also a member of the Sharing Faith Believers Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Morrow; daughter, Shelby Fowler, grandson, Tim Fowler; brothers, Buford Young and Dallas Young; and sister, Sarah Burnham. Survivors include her granddaughter, Pennie & Brad Crane of Dallas, Georgia; two great, grandchildren: Jake Townsend of Durango, Colorado, and Elizabeth & Jesse Gould of Franklin, Georgia; two great, great grandchildren: Logan and Jessica Gould, also of Franklin; one brother, Bill Young of Nashville, Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
