The burial location for Thomas was found by the Genealogical Society of New Jersey GSNJ Tombstone Hounds based on GSNJ 63:23.
Thomas Malaby was the son of Cornelius and Grace Malaby of Amwell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He married Rachel Salyer August 20, 1787. Rachel was the daughter of Charles and Mary Salyer of Amwell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Rachel's grave has not been found, but it could also be in Harbourton Cemetry. There is evidence that she was living in Hopewell, Mercer County at the time of her death.
Thomas was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, serving under Colonel Martin and Colonel Sealy in the New Jersey Regiment. He fought in the Battle of Monmouth and other battles.
According to pages from the family bible stored in The National Archives with their Revolutionary War pension application, Thomas and Rachel had the following children:

Charles born 22 April 1793, (died March 2 1875)
Cornelius born 7 November 1796 (died about 1826)
Margaret born 21 July 1801

The age of 84 years inscribed on the marker does not agree exactly with his birth date from his Rev War pension application and the family bible.
