OBITUARY
WILLIAM F. CASTLEMAN
Services for William F. Castleman of 2232 S. Spring St. will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bisch Memorial Home . Rev. Edward Ziegler will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Castleman, 87, who had been engaged in the lumber business for several years, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital.
A resident of Springfield most of his life, Mr. Castleman was born at Rolla, Mo., the son of David and Trithena Groves Castleman. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and appointed a lifetime honorary member of the Springfield Garden Club.
Surviving are his wife, Irene; one son, W. Russell of Encino, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Kaufman of Dolton, Ill.; Mrs. Jean Canterbury, Round Lake, Ill.; and Mrs. Jewel Berns of Springfield, Va.; one step-daughter Mrs. Glenda Moan, Inglewood, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. George Dibler of Shawnee, Okla.; six grandchildren; two step-granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
