"Paul A. Sterner, 81 of Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, died Sunday, Dec. 16, in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. He was the husband of the late Evelyn S. (Schall) Sterner.
He was a laborer for the former Nazareth Fabricators for 37 years before retiring in 1983.
Born in Plainfield Township, Monroe County, he was a son of the late Howard and Florence (Walls) Sterner.
He was a Methodist.
Survivors: Sons, Donald L. of Nazareth, Edward L. of Allentown, Dennis C. of Bethlehem, Henry W. of Northampton; sister, Gladys Young of Easton; companion, Jennie Grenz, with whom he resided; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Pauline Lieberman, who died Thursday, and a son, Jonathan.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive, Bath. Call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
