Birth: Jan. 17, 1804
Lincolnshire, England
Death: Feb. 2, 1871
Indiana, USA

Thomas and his wife came to the U. S. in 1852, sailing from Hull, England to New York, on the ship "Harlequin," and then going to Cincinnati, where members of his wife's family preceded them. Thomas was a farmer living in Noble Twp, Rush Co, IN, in the 1860 census and farmer living in Laurel, Franklin Co, IN, in the 1870 census.

NOTE RE DATE OF DEATH: Although the tombstone says he died in 1872, his will was probated on 6 March 1871, so the correct date of death has to be 2 Feb 1871. (The latter date also works with his age at death, as compared to his christening date.)

SON CHARLES: In addition to the children linked below, Thomas & Elizabeth were the parents of Charles Brown, born 1835 in England, m. Amanda McLean, died aft 1910 census, when he was with Wundrum family (son-in-law and daughter) in Indianapolis. Where is he buried?
