Mrs. Buxton died Friday Feb. 1, 2008 in the Kinder Nursing Home.
She was a Baptist by faith.
Her husband, J.C. Buxton; parents, John and Lou Ella Ware; one son, Philip Buxton; one granddaughter, Christie Love Buxton; two brothers, Steve Ware and R.L. Ware; and two sisters, Audrey Ashworth and Bessie Buxton preceded her in death.
She is survived by seven sons, Donald Buxton and wife, Gina of DeQuincy, James Beal Buxton and wife, Judy of Youngsville, Eugene Buxton and wife, Kammie of Kinder, Barney Buxton and fiancee', Donna LeJeune of Lake Charles, Larry Buxton and wife Ginger of Spring, Tex, Berlin Buxton and Marvin Buxton and wife Beth of Iowa; two brothers, Earl Ware of Lake Charles and Harold Ware of Oakdale; one sister, Jeannie Deshotel of Oakdale; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
