Dorothy Evelyn Smith was born on April 4, 1908 in rural Blair, Nebraska to Harry and Millie (Sylvis) Smith. She attended Pleasantview School and graduated from Blair High School.
She married Ray Johnson on February 12, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska. They were blessed with two children.
Dorothy catered and was hostess for many activities in the Blair community. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair.
Dorothy Johnson, 81, passed away February 5, 1990 at Crowell Memorial home in Blair, Nebraska.
Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, Earl.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ray; two children, Gwen Johnson, Chino, California; and Gary Johnson, Phoenix, Arizona; and one brother, Floyd Smith of Oregon.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. James McBride officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
