Jacob Every of Mt. Tremper died Sunday at his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Anna Hudler Every. Also surviving are two sons, Reginald, supervisor of the town of Shandaken; and Earl Every, Kingston; a sister, Mrs. Frank Boice of Albany, four grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m.
at the Reformed Church, Mt. Tremper. Burial will be in the family plot in the Hudler Cemetery, Mt. Tremper. The body is now at the Gormley Funeral Home, Phoenicia. Friends and relatives may call at any time.
The parents of Jacob were John Every (1840-1906) and Hester Hyatt Every (1843-1902). Jacob was named for his paternal grandfather Jacob U Every (1806-1891). Jacob U Every, in turn, was a son of Uriah and Miriam Hill Every who settled in the Ulster County area after the Revolutionary War.
