Kenneth Charles Avery worked on construction in Minot, N.D., area for many years, and came to Billings in 1981 to be near his brother and family. Mr. Avery, 78 of 1415 Yellowstone River Road, died thursday in Yellowstone Nursing Home.

Born in Minot, a son of Otis and Emma Avery, he grew up near Glenburn, N.D.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles W. of 2135 Meadowood St. and Marvin O. of Harbor, Ore,; and two sisters, Mrs Ted Vocht of Pasco, Wash., and Mrs. Otto Reinke of Falls Creek, Wis.

Services will be 2p.m. Monday in Thompson-Larsen Chapel, Minot, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot. Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary is in charge.
