She was strong in her faith, and was a living example to all who knew her. She was fun loving, even after suffering trials and tribulations that would test anyone's faith. She was quick with her humor, great on a sewing machine, very good with horses, and even good at riding motorcycles. Dad and Mom enjoyed many rides on their motorcycles in and around the Bear Lake Valley. Mother loved to go camping with the family and enjoyed many wonderful trips with them. She loved playing her organ, and was very good at "playing by ear".

She held Stake callings as Stake Primary President in two different Stakes (Utah and Nevada). Mom and Dad lived most of their married lives in Ogden and for several years lived in Sparks, Nevada. Most recently she lived with her daughter Debbie, in Layton, Utah, where she was a member of the Tri Oaks Ward. She was currently serving there in the Relief Society, making blankets for newborn babies. She was also active in the Lynn Camp chapter of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She attended school one year in the Little Red School House, on the Ranch at Sage Creek, and then in Randolph, Utah. She attended Utah State University, transferring to Excelsior Beauty College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned her Beauticians License, practicing this for 50 years.
