DENZEL WAYNE BAILEY
Denzel Wayne Bailey, 28, of Centralia, died at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia Saturday at 6 p.m. He had been a patient there a week.
Born May 24, 1944, in Higbee, he was the son of Denzil W. and Mary Belle Westfall Bailey, Higbee, who survive. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Bailey had served in the Navy four years.
Other survivors are the wife, Beckie Irene Lorton Bailey, of Centralia; son, Daniel Scott Bailey; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Kitchen Moberly; and Mary Katheryn Bailey, Higbee; brother, Jerald Bailey, Higbee and grandparents.
The fueral was held today at 1 p.m. at the Higbee Baptist Church, with burial in the Higbee City Cemetery. Rev. Jack Zike officiated. The Million-Greer and Comstock Funeral Home in Higbee was in charge of arrangements.
