Paresh Jain, 25, of Roanoke, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in San Francisco. He was born on June 1, 1986 in Salem. Paresh attended Hidden Valley Middle School and graduated from Hidden Valley High School and Roanoke Valley Governor's School in 2004. He graduated from University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce in 2008. Paresh was loved by all who knew him and will always be remembered for his fun-loving personality, his generous spirit, his amazing sense of humor, and his concern for those around him. He had a zest for life and was passionate about tennis, music, and traveling the world. Paresh is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ashok and Shashi Jain of Roanoke; his brother, Dr. Animesh Jain and his sister-in-law Meredith Jain. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ajit and Daman Jain; and by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nanumal and Saroj Agrawal. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a sincere friend to the friends and family in his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Indian Heritage Society C/O Shanti Niketan Temple, 7221 Branico Drive, Roanoke VA 24018. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 540-366-0707.
